This privacy policy governs your use of the software application DIAGNIA (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Biomedical Informatics Research Laboratory (BIRL). The purpose of this app is to diagnose abnormalities in pregnancy, diabetes, hepatitis c, pneumonia and cardiovascular.


What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

User Provided Information

The Application obtains your user information upon registration. When you register with us and use the Application, you generally provide:

a) email address, gender, date of birth and password.

b) other profile information which includes full name and profile image if you want to edit and put this information in your profile.

c) symptomatic information along with results of your medical tests upon self-diagnosis.

d) you will provide information while adding your pregnancy, about how many times you have been pregnant, your pregnancies that exceeded 24 week or six months and your last menstrual period date.

e) you will provide information on the eventual status of your delivery while completing a pregnancy.


How and where will we use collected data?

a) Each user’s personal information will be used solely to provide customized Application view for that user.

b) Diagnosis data will be used for analytics, however, no third party will be involved in creating these analytics. The analytics data will be solely used by us to improve the Application and shall not be forwarded to a third party.


Automatically Collected Information

The application is not collecting any information automatically.


Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.


Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Your provided data is only stored on our servers. There are no any third-party apps or services etc. accessing your data.


What are my opt-out rights?

Your previous diagnosis data remains on our server if you opt-out by uninstalling the Application.


Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

We will retain User Provided data perpetually.



We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at We will delete such information within a reasonable time.



We are extremely concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide strict security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.



This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for reasons that shall be specified. We will notify you of these changes in Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here and informing you via email.
